Meet the Teacher

I love working here. I love teaching the little ones and watching them grow.

My name is Jaquelin Mendoza. My experience has been as an interpreter, English to Spanish and Spanish to English. In looking to expand my experience with serving others, I am pursuing a career in teaching. I absolutely love children and I hope soon to become either a middle school or high school foreign language teacher.

When I was in high school, our class would go to the elementary school across our campus. We would help as teacher assistants for Pre-K and Kindergarten and do tutoring after school with the 4th graders. That was the moment I knew that I wanted to be a part of the growth and development of children. My generation and after must be greater than the ones before us, and just as scripture says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) I truly believe this applies with every aspect of life. If we want to help children become better and fear the Lord, we must teach them while they are young.

Meadows Place Preschool is a wonderful place, I love working here. I love teaching the little ones and watching them grow. I also love arts and crafts and reading and journaling.
