Our Programs

Meadows Place Preschool is a Christian-based and God-centered learning environment. Our experienced and well-trained staff will provide your child with the knowledge of God’s love for everyone, while fostering an appreciation, respect, and enjoyment of God’s world and His creation. Our thematic calendar, along with a play-centered curriculum that incorporates STEAM elements, offers a stimulating environment that fosters faith, creativity, independence, and a love for learning.

Child Development

Independent and small group activities are planned with essential elements of early childhood education built in to the design. These activities will provide cognitive, social, spiritual, physical, and emotional development opportunities for the children. Emphasis will be placed on social and emotional development as it relates to helping children learn socially acceptable behaviors and strong interpersonal skills to support friendships, self-esteem, positive self-worth and develop a comprehensive understanding of how to work independently and in small groups.

Play-Centered Curriculum

The curriculum will include opportunities for sensory and motor experiences such as play dough, painting, cooking, sand and water play, dancing and movement, and rhythm activities. Art activities, although fun and sometimes messy, are a child’s first attempts at writing and expressing themselves, as well as an excellent way for children to prepare the muscles of their hands for writing. Strong emphasis will be placed on language skills with activities such as singing, finger plays, rhyming, storytelling, letters, and communication. Math skills such as pouring, sorting, ordering, classifying, counting, and measuring will be introduced and developed.

Individualized Learning

Realistic goals will be set for each student based on his/her specific needs, with the knowledge that each child learns differently. A low student to teacher ratio empowers our staff to put your child first and understand different learning styles, to adapt educational opportunities and foster growth.
